A Special Note About Vacuum Packs Damaged in Transit: It has come to our attention that very rarely, due to rough handling in the transpiration system, some vacuum packs will sustain minor damage that is not visible to the naked eye but will cause the plastic package to loose vacuum. We want you to know that: 1.) All packages that are labeled as vacuum seal have left our fruit stand after rigorous inspection  to determine that the seal  and the vacuum is perfect and was intact when it left our hands. If you receive a package that has lost its seal then that has occurred somewhere in the time from when it left our control and when the carrier delivered it to you. This in no way affects the quality, and if you had planned to consume the nuts within  a few weeks, there should be no impact on flavor or nutritional value. If you receive a package that you observe to have received damage beyond simple rough handling, and there is spilled nuts or any damage in the package that is visible with the naked eye, then please contact us immediately for further instructions regarding replacement.

Foreign Country Residents Please Note:  It is your responsibility to check with your local government import authority. We can legally export nuts from the USA, but we make no representations that the packages will not be confiscated at your end. Please understand very clearly the risks which you assume  to any address without a USA ZIP or APO code such as to Western Europe, Japan, Canada, Mexico and other Foreign Countries. These shipments are at additional cost that must be quoted to you in advance of your order. Please email shipping@Almonds-From-California.com with details of any proposed order destined to a foreign address. We will need exact information from you including: ship to address and number of pounds you want. We will email back to you an exact quote within 24 hrs. Due to various regulations at your country of destination we can not guarantee that food products and nuts will pass your countries customs.
